Our clinic space is located in Guelph, Ontario, near the University of Guelph. It is fully equipped for psychotherapy, art therapy, and music therapy work, with a waiting room, kitchen, and co-working area.

Position Details
Student Therapists
Are you a motivated counselling student, interested in learning more about private practice? We accept both psychotherapy and music therapy, social work (MSW) students, to work as part of our affordable therapy program. We offer on-site supervision for our students with supervisors approved by the CRPO, CAMT, and Yorkville University.
We require our psychotherapy students to have RP (Qualifying) status or to be pursuing registration with the CRPO. Previous experience in a related field would be an asset. People who enjoy flexibility, are self-motivated, and work well independently thrive in this position.
We work with Yorkville, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Toronto, and University of Guelph.
We are currently accepting students for a January start.
Child and Youth Psychotherapist (RP/RSW) - Independent Contractor
This position is open
KS Therapy Services is seeking a child and youth therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate’s scope of practice will include working with children using play therapy, art therapy, or music therapy.
KSTS is asking for a minimum 10 hour/week commitment, with flexibility to build the caseload and schedule that works for you. We are a busy clinic with a strong flow of referrals for children and youth.
We are looking for a self-motivated therapist who is comfortable working in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will have experience providing psychotherapy to children; previous experience in private practice would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
Know current laws and ethics regarding practice of psychotherapy.
Maintain professional liability insurance and registration with a regulatory college (RSW or RP)
Provide therapy in a hybrid model, working virtually and in-person in Guelph, Ontario.
Manage own caseload, including scheduling and basic case management.
KSTS provides a practice management software, group supervision, and all marketing as part of the position. We are flexible with our start date — the fit of the canditate is our main priority!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay Range: starting at $84 - $102 per clinical hour. There is flexibility to set your rates within a range provided by the clinic.
