Group Program Rates
$20 per group
We don’t want finances to be the barrier to register. Please reach out to talk about our “pay what you can” options down to $5 per group.
This group is eligible for coverage under health insurance plans.
A 7-week Music & Talk Therapy Group for Moms
In this seven week group, we will learn more about and explore topics related to motherhood, and beyond. This may include exploring themes of identity, creativity, loneliness, societal and familial pressure, and anxiety and depression. Throughout the seven weeks, there will be opportunities to connect with others, express yourself and share in a non-judgemental environment.
This program involves both talk therapy and music therapy. It is facilitated by Deb and Kia, music therapy and psychotherapy interns. It is an in person group, taking place in downtown Guelph at the Common.
Group Program Details
There are eight 1.5 hour sessions, once per week.
These sessions will take place at The Common, 28 Wilson St, Guelph ON.
Group discussion with peers and peer support
Exploration of identity and motherhood
No musical experience or instruments required
You may be a good fit if:
You are a mother
You are looking to share and explore what motherhood has meant for you
You want to connect with others in a group setting
You want space of your own to talk and connect (kid free!)
