Are you looking for support with a significant change in your life? I have a special interest in supporting people with life transitions, navigating big changes in their life like separations, parenthood and the postpartum period. I can support you in working through various issues including anxiety, depression (including PPD), and stress.
I am a collaborative and client-led therapist, with a laid-back and conversational style. I use a strengths based approach to therapy, which looks to build on existing skills with the goal of increasing self knowledge and emotional resilience.
I believe strongly in working to increase access to mental health services, and creating equity within my communities. Our sessions would be a part of the affordable therapy program, which offers a “pay what you can” model, to ensure you can find a fee for therapy that fits within your budget sustainably.

People in my life describe me as an empathetic and intuitive listener. This led me to going back to school and pursuing a career in therapy.
I bring a wide range of lived experiences into my therapy practice. This includes parenting, Postpartum Depression, divorce, co-parenting, my own mindfulness/spiritual practice, and my own experiences in personal therapy.
When I’m not in the therapy office, I own and operate a cafe in downtown Guelph. I value community building and staying involved in different capacities. I am a creative person; chat with me about how we can bring creativity into our sessions.

I use a client centred, collaborative approach to therapy. I am happy to use structured therapeutic frameworks, such as Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) or aspects of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), or a more fluid eclectic approach, depending on your preference.
I offer a socially and culturally safe space in my practice, and I am happy to incorporate cultural and spiritual traditions into our sessions.
I am an ally to the LGTBQIA+ community, and offer non-judgmental and gender affirming practices.
I believe in the healing qualities of nature and physical exercise, and I am more than happy to offer ‘walk and talk’ therapy sessions as a part of my practice.
