Does this sound like you?
Leaving home for the first time and struggling with the transition of becoming an adult, but really not feeling like one.
Dealing with mental health concerns alongside other things like chronic health issues or disability, and not sure how to get the support you need.
Struggling to feel like you belong.
Know that past difficult experiences are showing up in your life and relationship, but unsure what to do about it.
If any of these resonate with you, I encourage you to reach out.
Our lives are a journey with various routes, bumps, shifts, turns and other changes. This brings about different experiences, emotions, behaviours, concerns, and goals; and we experience these in different ways as unique individuals living in relationship with others.
If you’re looking for therapy that is sensitive to your unique life experiences and focused on creating purposeful and meaningful change, we could be a fit. We can explore your understanding and appreciation of your own beliefs, values, sense of self, spirituality, and other facets you wish to bring into the space. I approach this with active listening, an open mind, non-judgement, compassion, safety and respect.
While on this journey together, I aim for our time to be client-centred and we will focus on the goals and presenting problems you would like to share, discuss and grow within. I focus on overall supporting you in building acceptance of oneself, committing to and working on goals we may set for you together, getting to know your values and beliefs and how this may be impactful for you, and overall life well-being.
My approach is informed by the belief that each person brings a unique history, worldview, identity, strengths, and understanding of meaning into the therapeutic process. I am committed to continuing to learn alongside the people she supports and to developing a practice that is thoughtful, collaborative, culturally responsive, and person-centred.

I am a Psychotherapy Intern Therapist whose work is grounded in compassion, accessibility, social justice, and a holistic understanding of mental health and well-being.
I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science, with Minors in Global Studies and Religion & Culture, as well as the Arts Global Experience (AGX) Program from Wilfrid Laurier University. I am currently completing a Double Master’s (MA/MDiv) program in Psychotherapy & Spiritual Care and Theology at Martin Luther University College. Through this interdisciplinary education, I am developing an approach to psychotherapy that considers the psychological, emotional, relational, spiritual, cultural, and social dimensions of a person's experiences. As well, I share this out of importance as my undergraduate studies are not in the more common psychology fields but more so social sciences as I transitioned out of a law programme during my earlier degree. I made a career shift decision as I gained more experiences with different organizations, community-centred work and trauma-informed work that influenced my desire to support others and I believe this experiential learning greatly supplements my current graduate education related to mental health practice. My future goals are to pursue doctorate education within this field to further my knowledge. I did not see myself going down this path as an adolescent - an example of how our life journey can always shift and change!
My academic and professional development has also included a Global Leadership Diploma from the University for Peace and a Certificate in Climate Justice and Faith from California Lutheran University, both completed through scholarships, as well as a Certificate in Faith, Innovation and Social Impact from New York University, also completed through scholarship in addition to other various trainings and certifications at universities and professional institutions related to social justice, interpersonal relationships, interculturalism, leadership skills, mental health, and wellness.
I am particularly interested in the intersections of mental health, spirituality, accessibility, social justice, sustainability, and community well-being. I aim for this to help foster an inclusive therapeutic environment where individuals can explore their experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change at their own pace.
Throughout my education and professional experiences, I have supported individuals with accessibility needs, worked with vulnerable populations, advocated for mental health and social justice, supported international students, and student communities, supported refugees, newcomers and others from war-torn situations, and participated in leadership and political initiatives at local, national, and international levels. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to meeting people with empathy, respect, curiosity, and an awareness of the diverse circumstances that shape our lives as human beings.
I am continuing to expand my knowledge and clinical skills through ongoing education, professional development, and interdisciplinary learning as well as experiential learning. My long-term goals include practicing as a Registered Psychotherapist and Psychospiritual Therapist, pursuing further research-focused education, and contributing to the development of mental health, community care and psychoadvocacy initiatives.
I look forward to getting to know you, your journey and your goals.

This work is truly a journey together and I want to work with you. You know your experiences, your story, your values, and your circumstances better than anyone else. Rather than telling you what you should do or providing you with a set of answers, I work alongside you to explore what you are experiencing, develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and support you in moving toward the goals that are meaningful to you.
Currently, I draw on techniques, coping mechanisms and thought from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Existential Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and an overall integrative therapeutic approach.
I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgemental, and welcoming space where you can slow down, reflect, talk things through, and feel genuinely heard and understood. Therapy can be a space to make room for thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to express elsewhere, to explore experiences that have shaped you, and to consider new ways of understanding yourself and your circumstances.
In our work together, we can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, experiences, values, beliefs, and the challenges you may be navigating. We can also make space for uncertainty, questions, and moments when you may not have the words to describe what you are experiencing. We can hold space for silence, mindfulness, pause and contemplation.
I approach our work with curiosity, empathy, respect, and openness. I recognize that each person brings their own identity, culture, worldview, relationships, strengths, challenges, and understanding of meaning into the therapeutic process. Where appropriate, I am also interested in exploring the ways spirituality, faith, meaning, purpose, and existential questions may intersect with your mental health and overall well-being. These conversations are always guided by what is meaningful and comfortable for you.
Therapy is not about changing who you are or telling you who you should become. Instead, it can provide an opportunity to better understand where you are, recognize the strengths and resources you already possess, and explore where you would like to go from here. My role is to walk alongside you as you navigate that process, offering a supportive and collaborative space in which your experiences and perspectives are valued.
Together, we can work at a pace that feels appropriate for you and your circumstances. Whether you are navigating a particular challenge, seeking greater self-understanding, experiencing a period of transition, or simply wanting a space to talk and reflect, I hope to provide a therapeutic relationship where you feel respected, supported, and able to be authentically yourself.
