Headshot of Nicole Howe, Bipolar Disorder Therapist

Are you looking for support with bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety?

If the cost of therapy been holding you back, Nicole offers affordable therapy.

  • Are you trying to keep up with the demands of life, but keep falling short? Mental health issues like depression, anxiety, and mood disorders can take over in a way that feels out of our control. Many people say they don’t know where to start or how to make meaningful change. This is where therapy can help.

I support people experiencing issues related to bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, whether it’s a new diagnosis or working through rough patches. I want to help you make sense of your emotional landscape and find steadier, more grounded ways of moving through daily life.

My approach is collaborative and deeply empathetic as I work to create a space where you feel understood, validated, and empowered to grow at your own pace.

    • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Yorkville University, (2026)

    • Honours B.Sc. Forensic Science and Psychology, Trent University, (2021)

  • I have always been fascinated by the complexity of human behaviour and the stories people carry, which is what led to my studies in forensic science and psychology. That paired with my wide range of personal lived experiences, I strive to bring authenticity, curiosity, and warmth to my work. I have been lost and confused when dealing with my own mental health and want to provide a space for individuals where they are understood. I value ongoing self-reflection, personal growth, and connecting with others in meaningful ways.

  • I aim to be supportive, approachable, grounded, and genuinely invested in my clients’ well-being. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership and is client centered, you are driving the car, I am just making sure we don’t get lost along the way. I bring gentle guidance and practical strategies to help you move toward the life you want.

Drawing from modalities such as ACT and DBT, where the goal is learning to accept and adapt to be able to function fully as yourself. Whether you’re seeking clarity, stability, emotional balance, or stronger boundaries, I can help you explore patterns, build insight, and develop tools that support lasting change.
