Are you looking for a creative approach to therapy? Andrea can support a wide range of issues in art therapy sessions.

If the cost of therapy been holding you back, Andrea offers affordable art therapy.

  • Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to put your experiences into words? Art therapy offers a different way in – through creativity, imagination, and expression. You don’t need to be “good at art.” This is about expression, insight and connection, not skill.

I work with youth (11+), teens, and adults in exploring life’s challenges through art-making. Together, through the creative process you can explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe, supportive space and begin to make sense of what’s going on inside.

I work with helping you navigate things like anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, neurodivergence, creative blocks, chronic illness and spiritual/existential questions. Whether you’re navigating your own experience or supporting a loved one, you don’t have to do it alone.

    • Art Psychotherapy Diploma, Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy (2026)

Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts, York University (1999)

  • I am both an artist and an art therapist-in-training, and creativity has always been central to how I understand the world and myself. My own art practice has been a powerful way to process my life experiences, and I bring that lived understanding into my work with you.

Before training in art psychotherapy, I had a long career as a designer and business owner. My background, combined with my current clinical training, allows me to bring both my life experiences and a deep curiosity into the therapy space.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy time with my two teens, quiet moments knitting or reading, hiking in nature, and the occasional spontaneous dance party or car karaoke.

  • Our sessions are shaped around you. I offer both structured approaches – such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) art therapy – and open, exploratory art-making, depending on what feels most supportive for you.

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on helping you feel understood, supported, and more connected to yourself.

I aim to help you build:

     Emotional insight

     Self-compassion and self-confidence

 A stronger sense of agency

 Tools to navigate life’s challenges
