  • I am an artist who has always used my creativity and artistic practice as a deeply personal way to explore, reflect and resolve issues in my life. Art making has always allowed me to see and process my own personal issues in a deeper way than I could through thoughts and words alone.

I earned a BFA in visual art, which lead to a long career as a designer and business owner. As an art psychotherapy student, I hope to bring my dynamic life experiences to my practice, as well as my open-hearted curiosity to help my clients work through personal issues using art, art-making and the creative process. I am excited to be able to combine my life-long love of art creation and my deep interest in the workings of our inner mental and emotional lives to holistically support anyone seeking change in their lives, through art!

When I am out of the office and classroom, I like to spend time with my two teens, or my two cats (who are more likely to be home), by knitting or reading by the fireplace. I also enjoy regular hikes in nature, spontaneous dance parties and expressive car karaoke.

  • I work in a client-centered, collaborative and trauma-informed way to support individuals in finding ways to reduce distress in their mental, emotional or relational lives through the transformative process of art creation with psychotherapy.

We can work together in a structured way using cognitive therapeutic frameworks such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), or explore a more integrative and creative approach to art therapy, keeping your experience and your identity at the core of our work.

I aim to help you foster insight, personal agency, self-compassion, self-worth and self-confidence for a more meaningful life.
