Do any of these sound like you?
Does your anxiety or distress seem to be more in control than you do? Or are you stuck in repetitive behaviours, mental rituals like checking, washing, counting or reviewing?
You’re having difficulties with your relationships, having a hard time understanding how you feel or how to communicate.
Many of my clients would say they struggle with anxiety, managing their emotions, relationships or the daily balance that is life. You may feel your current coping strategies are not working and like you’re ready to step toward change, but not sure how to start.
I know what it is like to struggle and feel like it will never get better. My own experience in therapy showed me that the right support can make all the difference. I am deeply fascinated with our ability to learn, change, and embrace new ways of being. I prioritize the creation of a safe, non-judgmental space where I can support people facing what needs to be faced, and gently guide them through toward change.

I’ve always been the person people would go to talk to when they were going through a hard time. I believe giving people a space where they feel heard, validated and respected has the power to enact incredible positive change. Becoming a therapist has allowed me to support people in overcoming lifelong challenges or embrace new goals and see the power of that space in action.
I am deeply moved by seeing individuals face their deepest fears and embrace who they are. My own struggles and journey in therapy has shown me the path forward becomes clear by facing those hard things, and the right support system means there is nothing that we can’t walk through.
Offline, you will find me working on my latest crochet project, cooking or taking photos of my cat. I love spending time outside, with friends and family, or getting lost in a good audio book.

If we work together, some of the things we might focus on include:
Co-creating a safe, nonjudgemental space where you can say the things you’re afraid to say.
Helping you face feared thoughts and situations, while respecting your pace.
Teaching skills to tolerate uncertainty, reduce avoidance, and rebuild meaningful activities.
Working on rebuilding the relationship with yourself and others.
Exploring how to break out of cycles you feel stuck in including the impact that addictions have had in your life.
I am an integrative therapist, meaning I pull from several evidenced based theories and adapt my approach to fit you. Some approaches include ACT, DBT, CBT and ERP.
